Law of attraction on steroids (New Rules For Manifesting Your Desire)

You’ve heard the statement – whatever you focus on you get more of. Where attention flows, energy goes.

“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. Mathew 7:7

How asking the right questions can unlock anything you want in life.

If you are into the law of attraction and purposely creating what it is you want in your life but haven’t been able to attract certain things…

It could be because you are going about it the wrong way!

The truth is, these laws are always in operation, whether or not we believe in them or acknowledge them.

The trick is – spend time using them. It’s like exercising a muscle – you must consciously work on implement them.

So, what is a quick and easy way to use them a lot more. My friend Britney shared with me a cool trick that she does. She asks questions about what her intention is.

It’s a pretty simple process – she suggested that you write them down as well and put them in your pocket or purse.

Why are my parents so amazing! :) (Get quite and allow the universe to fill in the space)

Why is it so easy for me to make money? (Think about something that is super easy for you to do – what are the feelings of that)

Why are my relationships so peaceful? (Think about a peaceful relationship you have and expand it out into every other one – Visually pull the people up closest to you and send them love)

Why am I so happy? – List the reasons.

Why am I chosen to change the world?

Why is it so easy to pay for my parents retirement?

Why is it so simple to stand in a profound state of awareness and have people magnectly attracted to the information I’m sharing?

How can my life get any better than this? What does a better life look like? What does it feel like? What are your friends saying to you about this better life?

You must energize what you want with your thoughts and emotions.

Remember, we’re in this together

3 Fundamental Rules for Being More Present – Mindset Monday

Hey Fitlifer,

Too often in life we worry about everything except the here and the now. We worry about what the future may hold. We worry about past mistakes that might affect us. We worry about things that are, quite frankly, out of our control. That’s why this week we are going to focus on being more present…

When we are present with ourselves, we live as authentic beings, we are able to harmoniously interact with the universe in that exact moment and in this moment…everything becomes clear and amazing things happen.

So how to we become more present?

Follow these 3 simple rules:

  1. You have to see the world through your “wow goggles”. As you go through your day, try to ignore all the other thoughts that pop into your head. Just look around and accept how amazing everything is around you in that exact moment.
  2. Utilize your 5 senses and get outside of your thoughts. We often forget everything about a situation and fail to live in the moment because we are wrapped up in our own thoughts. Remind yourself to experience every situation with all 5 senses.
  3. You have to forget your story. Forgive. There are things holding you back from becoming your all. Let go of your story. When you can tap into your own present awareness, you start to see the world differently (in a pretty magical way).

Being present is so much more than living in the moment. It’s being aware of everything around you and seeing the world in a new light. I promise you that if you can practice these 3 things every single day, you will start to go through life, accept what is around you and just think…WOW!

Remember, we’re in this together

How to Love – Mindset Monday

“Love, a word that comes and goes, but few people really know, what it means to really love somebody – Kirk Franklin”

Hello Fitlifers! It feels great to see you in the after another productive week! I’m excited to share this week’s Mindset Monday and start it with a love song!

If you are ever in the San Diego area, I want to invite you to workout or have a green drink with our wonderful team here. They are some of the most amazing, caring people on the planet and are responsible for transforming millions of peoples lives.

I’ve been looking at 2012’s Most Popular ‘How To’ Google Searches Worldwide: What Did Americans Hope To Learn Most?  Do you know what it is FitLifer?

You guessed right!  People are searching for “How to Love all over the world. Here in the United States, it’s one of the most searched phrases.  I certainly don’t have it all figured out, but on this week’s Mindset Monday, I want to respond to this top search.  I recently read this book called the 5 Love Languages” and I want to share with you 3 of the 5 tools this book teaches.

And I’m hoping that you will use these 3 tools to love selflessly.

Tool 1 – Words of Affirmation

Tool 2 – Physical Touch

Tool 3 – Quality Time

So let’s take a closer look with these 3 tools.

Tool 1 – Words of Affirmation

Giving people Words of Affirmation means that you send love through using words.  When we take the time to genuinely compliment people, it makes people feel loved.  What are you saying to the people you love.

I’m so grateful for you.

I’m proud of you.

I’m honored to be a part of your life experience.

Another way we can show love is to write a card for someone.  A handwritten card is so rare these days.  If you love getting handwritten cards, please give this video a big thumbs up! Also, feel free to write me a note. You just might get one back. :)

Tool 2 – Physical Touch

images (1)

I love giving and receiving hugs.  Another way we can show love to those around us is through physical touch!  Physical touch is so critical for our survival.  Human beings are made to be embraced.  Infants who are touched gently on a regular basis gain weight and grow at better rates than babies who lack this contact. In a work environment, perhaps the appropriate thing to do is give your coworkers a high-five! Give someone a high-five right now! Or is a high five to 80’s? Maybe a fist bump? No? How about the rocket ship?

Tool 3 – Quality Time

Another way to express love to someone is through quality time. Quality time means that you spend time with someone at a coffee shop just having a conversation with them. Put your cell phone on the table. You give them your undivided attention and you listen to them attentively. When was the last time you just listened?

So always remember these 3 tools in order to live a life full of gratitude.

Tool 1 – Words of Affirmation

Tool 2 – Physical Touch (hug it out)

Tool 3 – Quality Time

All of us are born to love and be loved. It’s what our lives are all about. It’s the greatest feeling in this world to be connected to someone else or to our friends. No man is an island and we’re all entitled to love.

Mindset Monday – Leadership

When the best leader’s work is done the people say, ‘We did it ourselves.’ –  Lao Tzu

Hello Fitlifers! It’s another Mindset Monday.

A young man recently came to me and he was looking for advice.  He told me that he wanted to be an inspirational speaker, to be a leader.  Today, I want to take the opportunity and share with you guys what I’ve learned over the years, and still learning about leadership.

In this week’s Mindset Monday, I want to give you 3 tools that may help in your journey in becoming a better leader.

Leader-small-1024x727

Tool 1 – Lead from the front

Tool 2 – Serve

Tool 3 – Encourage

Let’s get closer to each of these tools. And let’s learn more how they work.

Tool 1 – Lead from the front

Leading from the front specifically means protecting your followers.

As a true leader, one must put him/herself on the frontline to protect their followers.  Often times we have the misconception that the leader is just up there for visibility. A true leader watches over and protects their followers.

I have a little story that I particularly liked about Gandhi. A mother brought her son to Gandhi and asked Gandhi to to tell her son not to eat sugar. Gandhi agreed and said ok. Bring him back in 2 weeks. So the mother did exactly what he said and two weeks later brought him back. Gandhi said to the young boy, ok my son… you should stop eating sugar it is bad for you. The boy stopped right away. Later, the mother was puzzled as to why Gandhi waited two weeks, so she went back and asked him. Gandhi replied, because in order for me to tell your son to stop. I had to stop.

A true leader is congruent in their teachings. If I’m going to teach you how to be healthy physically, emotionally and spiritually, I better be demonstrating success in my own life.

Tool 2 – Serve

As a true leader, it is important to serve those around you, especially when it seems like a trivial task. The true leader serves in the background and does things people don’t normally see.

As a leader always ask yourself, “Who can I serve today?”. To get into the habit of thinking this, you may want to store an alarm in your phone that says this.

Tool 3 – Encourage

As a true leader, it is important to encourage those around him/her.  People need to be praised when they’re doing well.  When followers are struggling, the leader is there to encourage them along to strive to be better. Also, if there is ever a communication break down, the communication has to be open enough to take over for the team member that is struggling, or holding onto a project too long. I’ve seen too many goals go down in flames because someone was too embarrassed to simply say, “Yo, I need some help with this.”

Just a recap with the three tools that we have just learned to be great leaders:

Tool 1 – Lead from the front

Tool 2 – To serve, even when it seems like a trivial task.

Tool 3 – To encourage

Remember that we’re all born to be leaders in our own ways. But we can be the leaders of change, not just for ourselves but also for our community. Leadership is selfless. It is passionate, collaborative and heartfelt.

Mindset Monday – Peer Pressure

Peer pressure is the outside drive to influence someone to conform to his peer’s attitudes, behaviors or characters. It is when the outside world infringe your ability to be yourself. While others give in, you can definitely resist and take a stand! Give them the mentality of listening to other people’s insights, but balancing it by tapping on your own greatness!

sookie_friends_wrap_3067_m

In today’s Mindset Monday, we’re going to talk about peer pressure itself, and how we can position ourselves in such a situation. Peer pressure is one challenge you have to successfully get over before you can get to your goals. It’s also a test of how convicted you are to your vision.

Success comes from consistent action and effort.  Do not let anything or anyone, derail you from your goals.

Here are three tools that can change the direction of your life!

Tool 1 –  Vision Board

Tool 2 –  Surround yourself with supportive, successful people

Tool 3 –  Join the community

Tool 1:  Vision Board

Always be aware of your goals in life.

Create a digital collage of your ideal self and life.

Environment, people, personality, health, spirituality, emotional life – everything that you see in your life that you want to achieve or you want to live with. Look at the vision board twice, every morning and every night. After all, life isn’t about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself!

Tool 2 – Surround yourself with supportive, successful people

mizzou-columbia-missouri-777828-h

There may be a time when you are faced with temptation from others around you. Do not let them derail you.  Explain your goals to them.  Better yet, make an effort to surround yourself with supportive, successful people that have either been through it, or want to see you succeed. You’re the average of your 5 bestfriends, and by being with open-minded and unlimited people, their positive vibes will influence you subconsciously.

Tool 3 – Join the community

We’re in this together.  Joining the membership community, you will find that everyone is supportive towards you reaching your goals. We love supporting people and we love what you’re all about!

So remember the three tools I just gave you!

Tool 1 –  Vision Board

Tool 2 –  Surround yourself with supportive, successful people

Tool 3 –  Join the community

Always aim to strike a balance between your personal goals and your community. Peer pressure is such one endeavor and you don’t have to give up. You have a choice to be at the center of your vision by being with people who are also committed towards that vision.

After all, life is not about finding yourself. It’s about creating yourself!

Mindset Monday – What is Mastery

“Everyone wants to be a master, but not everyone wants to be an apprentice.”

A book from Robert Greene talks about being an apprentice  every single day, reaching outside your comfort zone and not being afraid to learn.

Some of the true masters that we study in our history books were once apprentices.

Ben Franklin studied as an apprentice for many years.

Tesla , Charles Darwin and many more even took decades to be masters of their own fields.

417wbas-AKL._BO2204203200_PIsitb-sticker-arrow-clickTopRight35-76_AA300_SH20_OU01_

It doesn’t matter what profession that you’re in, it is important to achieve mastery. To achieve mastery, one must not skip the step of apprenticeship.

In this week’s Mindset Monday, I’m going to share 3 easy tools on how to become master!

Tool 1 – The Apprenticeship

Tool 2 – Finding a Master Remotely

Tool 3 – To achieve mastery, teach someone!

Three Tools

Tool # 1 – Be humble and learn!

To be a true apprentice, one must be humble and learn.  Recognize that there is always something to learn.  When learning or reading something, even when you’ve read it before, pretend that you’re listening to it for the first time.  In doing so, you can absorb a lot more.

Tool # 2 – Recognize that masters can be remote.

Some people might say to me, “Drew, I just don’t have the social connections to teach me”.  I recommend you to check out YouTube channels that feature topics that you’re interested in or topics that you want to master.  There are guitar lessons, art lessons, and even MIT courses online all for free. Reach out to these masters by email or leave a comment on their blog. Some masters are easier to reach than you think.

Tool # 3 – To achieve mastery, teach someone something that you’ve learned!

scotland-history-printing-1679761-h

You don’t have to become a master to begin teaching someone.  As you teach people, it reinforces that you’ve learned.  Say you learned your first chord on the guitar, show that to someone.  You might not be 100%, but you’re learning while teaching! Learn it even more in the subconscious level.

To  become a master, you have to be open to learning. You have to sweat for your goals. And you need to have an open heart so that you will be a master of yourself. If you’ve mastered this enough, then you can be a master to others!

If you like this Mindset Monday, please give it a big thumbs up!

Mindset Monday – Living the Life You Love

If you’re lucky enough to find a way of life you love, you have to find the courage to live it.” – John Irving

What would I do every single day if I would wake up, spring out of bed, and totally love living life? You don’t have to chase the lifestyle you’re dreaming of.  You can make it a reality anytime. Listen and absorb the positive vibes that people are sending to you, and send them back with passion and enthusiasm.  Today, I’m going to share to you 3 tools to live the life you truly love, and celebrate with me how fulfilling it is to maintain this positive outlook.

Three Tools

Tool #1 – Solidify What That Life Looks Like

Bring your imagination to it, and there you can build a strong foundation realizing that there’s a thin line between reality and pure visual imagery. Write how you paint the life on your senses, and make it become your entry point to a strong foundation.

Tool #2 – Taking Action by Asking Questions and Being Vulnerable

Ask for guidance.  No man is an island. Is there anything more powerful than learning from someone who was built on that experience? There are a lot of people who take pride from lending a helping hand to those who have the most sound potentials.

Tool #3 – Be Giving-Centric!

Don’t go into business thinking “What can I get from it?” Go into business and ask yourself, “What can I do to give?” Be the fullest expression of who you are. Give everything in what you do – may it be passion, time, talent or dedication. And everything that you gave will find their way back.

Mindset Monday – What is Think. Feel. Become?

mindset

Get the mp3/podcast of this episode free on iTunes.

As a transformation coach I like to ask powerful questions….

“What is going to happen in your life when you take responsibility for everything in your experience?”

People often ask me, “Drew, what is Think.  Feel.  Become?  You have it printed all over your marketing material!”

Let me explain that today.

I recently spoke with my good friend, Grant Cardone, who wrote “The 10X Rule”.

Cardone wrote, “Things don’t happen to you. They happen because of you.” [Tweet This!]

I believed this concept my whole life.  I believe that I am creator.  I believe everything in my experience I create.

Everything that is taking place in your life is a result of you and not external circumstances.

Why are there so many victims out there in this world?  People blame their:

  • Relational Problems.
  • Physical Problems.
  • Financial Problems.

So how do we stop this vicious cycle of victimization and defeat?

Think. Feel. Become. is one of the models that we teach here at FitLife.TV

Let me break it down.

Example 1:

A good friend of mine lost money in business and the stock market (roughly 100K two to three times).  As a result, my friend became cold about giving.  He became closed-off as a result of this experience.  As he became closed off, the universe began to close off on him. The thoughts and emotions that we project become our reality.

Example 2

Recently I was involved in a business situation that resulted in a 120-150K loss that happened within this past month.  Instead of buying into that illusion that money was going to somehow materialize or I had control of that money, I needed to make better decisions. I did not want the universe to close off on me.

I realized that I need to adjust my thinking quickly.
I also had to adjust my emotions backed by that decision.

This is the reason why Think. Feel. Become. is so powerful.

Your thoughts fueled by emotions are the components that become your daily experience.

Now knowing this, we can become that magical life force creating vibrant experiences.

I want to leave you with 3 Tools today.

  • Tool #1 – You are the Average of your best 5 friends in your physical, financial, relationships, social, and spiritual life.  Who are your 5 best friends?  How are they contributing to your life?  Are these uplifting friends?  Are there friends that you need to distance yourself from?
  • Tool #2 – You have a conscious choice. Stop being the victim.
  • Tool #3 – Surround yourself with Positive books!  Check out the books below.

Mindset Monday – Don’t Compete. Complete.

Don’t Complete.  Complete.

People in this world are competing all the time.  People are competing for water, food, money, and jobs.

We need to drop all that – drop that mindset and pattern of thinking.

It comes down to completing.  Think about how we can complete each other.

Help my brothers and sisters get what they want.  And it comes back to you!

The airplane was not invented by Orville or Wilbur Wright it was invented the Wright brothers.

America was not navigated by Lewis or Clark it was Lewis and Clark.

The very fabric of our DNA was not discovered by Crick or Watson but by Crick and Watson.

How did all these people do it? They believed and they believed in themselves and each other. No movement or world changing revolution can be done by one man. We must do it together.

Why compete with everyone when we can work together to achieve our goals?

Steps you can take to help people complete.

Step 1. Become a better listener.
Step 2. Recognizing people’s needs.  What can you do this week to help people complete?

Homework this Week:

– Help someone transform some aspect of their life!  Take silent action to help someone you know.

Remember, we’re in this together.
